Precise, radiation-free spinal assessment
SWISS-MADE PRECISION SPINAL GONIOMETRY
IN BRIEF
The IDIAG M360 (commonly referenced as “Spinal Mouse” and “Medi-Mouse”) is a computer-assisted medical device that quantifies the curvature and mobility of the spinal column by gliding the device manually down the spine. From the posterior surface line, an intelligent recursive algorithm computes information concerning the relative position of the vertebral bodies of the thoracic and lumbar spine, while taking into account the local curvature in both the sagittal and frontal-planes (kyphotic, lordotic and scoliotic). The final result is the accurate segmental localisation of all vertebral bodies as the projection of their midpoints on the superficial contour of the spine.

FOCUS AREAS
Physical Examination of the Spine
Idiag understands that for researchers and clinicians, valid and reliable active range-of-motion and postural assessment of the thoracolumbar spine and sacrum is problematic due to multiple joint structures & functions.
These assessment difficulties may be due to often ill-defined anatomical landmarks, and difficulty separating thoracic and lumbar motion from pelvic and hip motion. In the past, these difficulties led to the use of different methods to examine range of motion (ROM) in the research and clinical settings, for example, the tape measure method, Modified-Modified Schober Test (MMST), universal goniometry (UG), and the single and double inclinometer methods.Used for years in research settings, studies have shown the Idiag M360 to be a valid and reliable assessment tool, comparable to X-ray measurement of spinal curvature and even segmental mobility. It comes with new clinician-friendly software, which is regularly updated.

Quality of life
For a happy life, one factor is especially crucial: the quality of life.
In cooperation with Ludwig Maximilian University Munich, the pioneering Swiss medical technology company Idiag AG developed the M360 to enable the assessment, recording, real-time display and automatic reporting of spinal posture and mobility - with the sole focus of maintaining and improving the quality of life for patients and health professionals.
Health & Performance
Sporting excellence requires two things: health and the desire for continuous improvements in performance.
Idiag aims to develop products that support and enhance health & performance - with measurable success!
